Dear Students!
We are pleased to announce that as of January 2026, the BUEB University Library has switched from the previously used three integrated library systems to a unified, international platform: The Liberty system.
This transition required significant professional and technical work: migration of data files, standardization of cataloging practices, data cleaning, management of settings, and testing took place in order for the service to be continuous and reliable. Finetuning is currently ongoing.
What does this mean for you?

From now on, the entire collection of the three faculty libraries will be available and searched on a single common interface.

The system can also search the content of subscribed local databases.

Borrowing, reservations, and management of the user account are all done on a unified, modern, web interface.

Liberty is a modern, mobile-friendly infromation management system that integrates both physical and digital resources.

As a result of the development, you can once again use intelligent and smart devices (self-loan and book return machines, lockers)
